Acudor Products is proud to unveil three new access solutions engineered to meet evolving architectural and construction demands: the FRFD-XL oversized fire-rated floor door, the EG-4200 access door for exposed grid ceilings, and the GFRG-SH-TL/GFRG-RH-TL seamless gypsum access panels. Each model fills a clear gap in the market—offering enhanced performance, aesthetic flexibility, and the reliability Acudor is known for.

FRFD-XL: Oversized, 2-Hour Fire-Rated Floor Door

Responding to growing demand for larger fire-rated assemblies, the FRFD-XL provides a 2-hour fire rating tested to NFPA 288 / ASTM E119 in a robust, diamond-plate floor configuration. It’s built for interior applications where both accessibility and protection are critical, featuring a thermal-break frame, stainless hardware, lift-assist springs with automatic hold-open arm, and a 165°F fusible link for automatic closure. The reinforced construction supports up to a 300 psf live load, ensuring dependable performance under foot traffic and equipment weight.

EG-4200: Streamlined Access for Exposed Grid Ceilings

For commercial interiors utilizing T-bar suspended ceilings, the EG-4200 offers a clean, professional look that installs directly into standard grid openings. The all-aluminum design delivers durability without added weight, while rounded safety corners, an exposed piano hinge, and a screwdriver-operated cam latch simplify both installation and maintenance. Available in 24"×24" and 24"×48" panel formats sized for standard grid openings.

GFRG-SH-TL / GFRG-RH-TL: Seamless, Touch-Latch Access

Acudor’s latest GFRG (Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum) models are designed to disappear into drywall ceilings — or blend seamlessly in wall applications — providing an architecturally smooth, paint-ready surface. The panels feature concealed touch latches and European angle hinges for a flush, uninterrupted finish, with tapered edges ready for joint compound and texture. Mold- and moisture-resistant, these panels meet ASTM E84 standards for zero fuel contribution, flame spread, smoke, and combustion. Both square-corner (SH-TL) and radius-corner (RH-TL) versions are available to complement any design aesthetic.
