Our FWC-5015 and FW-5015 doors are not only fire-rated, but they are recessed for drywall, which is a unique feature compared to what our competitors offer. They are both made of steel (22 gauge) and feature galvanized steel drywall taping bead frames. Both also feature concealed hinges and a self-latching bolt latch, which is operated by flush key. They are also fitted with 5/8” fire-rated drywall. Let us break them down in more detail.

The FWC is specifically made for ceilings and has brackets while the FW is designed for just walls. Our FWC meets the 90 minutes Fire Resistance Rating in accordance with CAN ULC S101-14, ASTM E119-16 and NFPA 251. Meanwhile, our FW meets testing standards UL 10(b) and ULC S104.
