Project Overview
The new $44.1 million Airfield Damage Repair (ADR) Equipment Warehouse at Yokota Air Base strengthens U.S. Air Force airfield resilience by providing the 374th Civil Engineer Squadron with immediate access to mission-essential equipment. This state-of-the-art facility ensures rapid response to airfield damage caused by attacks or natural disasters, directly supporting Pacific operations and regional stability. The warehouse stands as a critical investment in readiness and infrastructure that enables U.S. forces to sustain operations across the Pacific.
Custom-Engineered for Performance
This project required a smoke vent solution that went beyond standard dimensions and finishes. Acudor delivered with a special 1220mm x 1220mm double-leaf smoke vent, built with:
- Aluminum construction for strength and corrosion resistance
- Curb-mounted design with a 305mm high insulated curb
- Manual inside and outside release mechanisms for versatile operation
- 165° fusible link for reliable fire response
- Integrated burglar bars for fall protection and safety compliance
- Custom powder coat finish to meet project-specific requirements (RAL 8016 Mahogany Brown)
